Researching Race and Racism Workshop Group Registration is Open

The group registration is currently open for the Race and Racism Working Group, which will meet for its  first session  on Wednesday, September 17 from 3:00 - 4:30pm at the Center for the Study of Race and Ethnicity in America (CSREA), 96 Waterman Street.
 
 
Name: "Researching Race and Racism in the Social Sciences and History"  

About: This workshop brings together social scientists and historians engaged in theorizing, researching, and discussing race, racism, and power in both U.S. and global contexts. Participants will explore contemporary challenges and emerging developments in the social sciences with a focus on changes in societies. We welcome faculty and graduate students developing new frameworks and studies on these issues or building on existing work. The workshop will feature discussions of shared papers, readings, and conversations with invited speakers on critical topics.

Meeting Times: Wednesdays, 3:00 - 4:30 pm
