Congratulations to Margot Jackson who received a new NIH grant in September. The title of the grant is "Childhood Safety Net Investments and Health Disparities From Birth Through Young Adulthood." The project will focus on understanding how early-life exposure to differing levels of social safety net generosity across U.S. states affects children’s health and development. Findings will also advance understanding of how public investments can narrow long-standing racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic disparities among children.
