Biography
Year of Entry: 2026
I am a first-year Ph.D. student in the Department of Sociology at Brown University. My research lies at the intersection of political sociology, comparative-historical sociology, and the sociology of development, with a regional focus on East and Southeast Asia. My previous work examined contingent coalition-building
between ethnic communities during the Emergency. My current research investigates how state-led development projects exacerbate inter-group inequality.
