Department of Sociology

In 2021, I completed a B.A. in Communication Studies, with minors in Chinese, Ethnic Studies; and Science, Technology, and Society Studies (STS) at California Polytechnic State University (San Luis Obispo). For the past two and a half years, I’ve worked at global PR agency, FleishmanHillard as a research analyst within its intelligence practice. I’ve built a specialization in measurement and quantitative communication research, supporting technology and healthcare clients in the San Francisco Bay Area. I’m excited to develop skills in mixed methods research design and applied analytics to implement in my research, exploring topics such as emerging technology, inequality, and consumer audiences.

Outside of work, I stay busy with various arts and crafts; I give myself a different handicraft to learn each year, and this year it’s crochet! I also enjoy cooking, trying new recipes, and finding fun local eateries and cafes. My favorite things of all are stories and puzzles, so it’s no surprise I’m a fan of escape rooms, board games, and TTRPGs. Find me mulling about a new D&D character or dreaming up a fantasy story to share with friends.
