Shipei Lu
Biography
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Marketing Management from Beijing Normal University-Hong Kong Baptist University United International College (UIC). Over the past four years, I have interned at Deloitte China, LVMH Group, and a securities company, serving as a Product Strategy Intern, Risk Strategy Intern, and Equity Research Intern. These diverse experiences have broadened my understanding of various industries and roles, fostering a keen interest in learning new knowledge. During my undergraduate studies, my research interests included market research and brand marketing strategies. I undertook several research projects on topics such as McDonald's and the luxury goods industry. For instance, I completed a quantitative study using statistical models titled "The Impact of Group Identity on Impulsive Luxury Consumption among Generation Z."
I spent the first nineteen years of my life in Northeast China, where the climate is similar to New York's. However, my university years were in the South, where I quickly adapted to the different climate and culture. In my spare time, I enjoy fitness and have been pleased with my progress over the past two years, as I've built considerable muscle. I also occasionally play guitar, sing, and play basketball.
