Biography

I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Japanese, with a minor in Finance, at Shanghai International Studies University. My undergraduate research included reviewing and evaluating the implementation of Japan's aging policies based on the White Paper on Aging Society and its implications for China, analyzing air quality trends and influencing factors in Xi'an from 2019 to 2022, and exploring the trade potential of agricultural products between China and Japan. I am particularly interested in social policy, aging, business analysis, culture, and climate and environmental change.

In my free time, I enjoy swimming, grocery shopping, baking/cooking, traveling, watching movies, playing video games, and spending time with friends. I am a foodie who loves sour and sweet flavors. I have a passion for horror and suspense, enjoy reading detective novels, following crime dramas, and listening to true crime podcasts. My favorite color is blue. Having spent 22 years growing up and living in Shanghai, China, I am about to leave home for the first time for an extended period. I am both nervous and excited, and I hope Providence will become my second home. I look forward to making new friends and discovering more areas of interest during my time at Brown University.
